About the Course
Making HTA Knowledge Structured, Practical and Accessible
The Course in Health Technology Assessment was created with a clear mission: to explain every nuance of HTA in plain language and make it accessible to professionals across the global healthcare ecosystem.

Our Mission
Health Technology Assessment is one of the most important disciplines in modern healthcare, yet structured, practical HTA education has traditionally been fragmented, geographically limited and often inaccessible to professionals who need it most.
We believe that everyone involved in evidence generation, economic evaluation, pricing, reimbursement, payer decision-making and healthcare policy should have access to high-quality, structured HTA training.
This course was designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional practice, providing a comprehensive, internationally relevant curriculum that equips professionals with the knowledge and skills to contribute meaningfully to HTA processes, wherever they work.
Our Principles
What Guides This Course
Global Relevance
HTA is a global discipline. Our course teaches the principles shared by HTA systems worldwide and explains, in general terms, how those systems differ.
Practical Application
Theory alone is not enough. Every lesson is built around worked examples, interactive explanations and step-by-step reasoning that transfer directly to professional practice.
Evidence-Based Approach
The course is grounded in the principles of evidence-based decision-making, the same rigour that HTA demands of the technologies it evaluates.
Interdisciplinary Design
HTA sits at the intersection of clinical science, health economics, policy and strategy. The course is designed for professionals across all of these disciplines.
Industry and Agency Perspective
We cover both sides of the HTA equation: how submissions are prepared by industry and how they are assessed by HTA bodies and payers.

The Global HTA Landscape
A Discipline Without Borders
HTA is practiced in over 50 countries and informs decisions worth billions in healthcare expenditure each year. From single-payer systems to multi-stakeholder environments, the principles of evidence-based assessment are universal.
Our course is designed to be globally relevant, teaching the analytical methods and reasoning shared by HTA systems worldwide, so that what you learn is applicable in any market context.
